Paul Robine

Paul brings over 10+ years of experience in Strategy and group development, deal sourcing, negotiation & exits to his position. Paul founded TR Capital in December 2007 and is responsible for the strategy building and development of the group. Prior to TR Capital, Paul was the founder and CEO of the Link Group in Hong Kong since 2005, which was the largest independent Equity Derivative firm in Asia (the group was later sold to ICAP). He also served as a Partner of the Link Group in London where he helped in building the European business. Paul began his career at BNP Paribas as a trader on Equity Derivatives. He holds a master’s degree from EDHEC Business School, Roubaix, France and if fluent in English, French and Spanish..


Karthik Reddy

Karthik has over 15 years of finance, investment banking, technology and operations experience. He is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Blume Ventures, one of the leading early-stage venture funds in India. Blume has invested in about 50 cutting edge product and technology companies since late 2010, and Blume Ventures is also an investor in Shantani Biotech. Previously, he was a media investment banker with SSKI (now part of IDFC), and a part of Brand Capital / Private Treaties at Times Group (where he was a permanent member of the Investment Committee and has sponsored over 50 investments in 3 years) and most importantly, as an angel investor at Mumbai Angels since 2008, where he has made about 10 investments to date. He began his career at American Express Bank in Mumbai, then moved to the US, where he worked at ABN AMRO Investment Banking, a startup – Softalia, and at an equity exchange – Instinet (a Reuters company, then sold to Nasdaq). He is an engineer from IIT Roorkee, and holds an MBA both from IIM Bangalore and the Wharton School.


Chaitanya Saxena

With 10+ years of experience in utilizing biophysical techniques to solve the relevant problems in life sciences, Chaitanya is a seasoned professional and bring successful experience of developing technologies for drug-target deconvolution and drug-target interaction measurements in intact biological systems from his tenure at Eli Lilly & Company. Chaitanya earned a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. Along with technical expertise Chaitanya also brings a solid experience of conceptualizing, developing and managing start-up and nascent organizations. Earlier he served as the Board of Director for Kshitiz Inc. from 2004-2007. He also directly handled project management efforts of several internationally reputed non-profit organizations. These transferable managerial skills are playing a key role in shaping Shantani.


Vikas Saxena

With 14+ years of experience in developing technologies and managing technology-based enterprises, Vikas brings a strong international business experience of working in USA, Europe and India. His direct experience of establishing Renishaw’s software operations in India is facilitating the establishment of the technology-based business of Shantani. Vikas earned a Master’s degree in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, UP, India. Vikas’s exceptional business management skills are playing a key role in evolving a scientific idea into a viable business.
